Biography

I have been playing sitar since 1964. My first guru was Pt. L.R.Kelkar of Gwalior gharana who had initially taught N.Rajam, the well-known violinist. I became a disciple of Ustad Imrat Khan in 1971. I taught sitar in Bombay. I performed solo recitals in the US between 1989 and 1996 and composed music for several stage shows including the World Telugu Convention at Long Island, NY in 1993.
