Biography

An young(20 years old), upcoming & higly talented student & performer of Hindustani-Vocal music. Started learning from the age of 5 years from mother. From the last 12 years he is taking talim under internationally acclaimed musician Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty & a seniormost student of SHRUTINANDAN. Recepient of prestigious awards of many competitions like Pt. Ravi Kitchlu Foundation, West Bengal state academy of music, Sangeet Piyasi, Doverlane music academy etc. He has a bright academic career & presently a 3rd year B.com hons student of St Xaviers college Kolkata. Has performed in almost all the stages of Kolkata & has been applaused by musicians of international repute like Bidushi Girija Devi, Pt Bhajan Sopori, Pt Arun Bhaduri, Laxman Rao Pandit & many more.He is the holder of the national scholarship given by the central Govt. Ministry of Culture.He is presently a regular artist of the ALL INDIA RADIO.
