Biography

KEYA CHANDA a recipient of Govt. of India Scholarship and Junior Fellowship twice from the Ministry of Culture , Dept. of H.R.D. Govt. of India. Empanelled A artist from Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre EZCC) and Doordarshan Television). Travelled abroad, and big festivals in India. She is a teacher and performer of both Joipur and Lucknow Gharanas. Runninig her own music school and troup named Makhla Shinjini. Teaching at Calcutta School of Music, Ballygunge, Kolkata (24615375). Capable of doing of WORKSHOP , Lecture Demonstration, performances. Successfully staged the productions - Evolution of Kathak, Jiwanjantranate Drug, Humane Draupadi and Kam Kandala along with her troupe.
