Biography

Dedicated talented and young Indrani emphasis the illustrious Lucknow Gharana in Kathak with own charming stage presence, brilliance of her eyes, her graceful movements, poses and the clarity of her footwork hold her audience spellbound. Initially she began at the tender age under Smt. Sreelekha Mukherjee, After extensive training she obtained Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samitee (Allahabad). Later on she was inspired in Kathak under the tutelage of renowned Kathak exponent Pt. Vijal Shankar for 16 years. Indrani is fortunate to get able guidance since last few years under the master of this art Padmabhusan Pt. Birju Maharaj. During this period she exposed to the wide range and having the right advantage to joining the regular workshops under Pt. Birju Maharaj and choreographic of Pt.
