Biography

I follow the Farukhabad Gharana of Tabla playing. I have taken training from my father Pt. Harmohan Khuntia, Pt. Chhotelal Mishra of Banaras Gharana and presently taking training from Pt. Anindo Chatterjee. I have qualified the All India Radio Music Competition in 1993 and I have given many programmes in AIR, Cuttack and Doordarshan Bhubaneswar and I have also provided accompanyment on Tabla with a number of well known artists.
