Biography

I belong to the Maihar gharana & have trained under the international flute maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia,since 1981. I also also been groomed in the dhrupad tradition under Ustad Sayeeduddin Dagarsaheb. I have been playing the flute over the last 30 years. I teach classical flute playing to serious students on a one-on-one basis, in the traditional guru-shishya tradition. I am a regular concert performer & have been performing extensively with Indian & international musicians. I have published several music CDs.
