Biography
Pandit Kishore Banerjee is a versatile musician of national and international repute. He is a masters degree holder in music (sangeet Praveen) in Tabla from Allahabad. He is also a Bachelor in Music (B.Mus) in classical vocal and harmonium. He is A grade tabla player from all India radio , Delhi and he is also associated with Prayag Sangit samity as an examiner of all subjects in music. He has been awarded The title of Sangeet Kala Ratna at Patna for his contribution in music. He has performed at many major cities in India and Abroad . He had been to U.S.A as a visiting professor of music at Sandieago State University,Caliifornia,U.S.A.. He has got cassettes, L.P. records and C.Ds of accompaniment and solos to his credit. He has taught for 29 years in Tagore Society and 30 years in Kala Sangam. Currently he is teaching in Sur Varsha Music Acadamy, New Delhi. He gives private lessons to new music students as well as to foreign students with great attentio
