Biography
Pandit Kishore Banerjee is a versatile musician of national and international repute. He has learnt from his illustrious father Late Pt. Manik Lal Banerjee who was a worthy deciple of Ustad Keramatullah Khan Sahab. Later on Kishore banerjee became the deciple of Legandary Guru Padmabhushan Pandit Gyan Prakash Ghosh. Kishore is a commerce graduate (B.Com) and a masters degree holder in music (sangeet Praveen) in Tabla from Allahabad. He is also a Bachelor in Music (B.Mus) in classical vocal and harmonium. He is A grade tabla player from all India radio , Delhi and he is also associated with Prayag Sangit samity as an examiner of all subjects in music. He has been awarded The title of Sangeet Kala Ratna at Patna for his contribution in music. He has performed at many major cities in India and Abroad .
