Biography

Bharathnatyam dance Instructor/performer/choreographer/make-up and costume designer in Kalakshetra foundation Chennai, an international fine arts college, with around 10 years of industry expertise, and over five years in a reputed institution. However i am not just a dance teacher, i have also learned vocal classical music while i was studying my diploma in dance. As a result, i was able to Nattuvangam (making musical beats in synchrony with the foot tappings of the dancer). Lots of years of experience in this field has made me an expert in theatrical choreography, choreography in fusion (choreographed and performed two group fusion shows, one for AIDS awareness campaign and the other for Tsunami in Belgium) as well as traditional performances, the art of character make-up, costume design for such roles as birds, animals, traditional characters as well as stage decoration in accordance with the shows theme requirements etc, I have been in this field for
