He hales from family of musicians and postgraduate in Music-M.A (Music) from Khairagarh University. A Disciple of Late Dhyanesh Khan S/O Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. A senior Student of Pandit Rajeev Taranath,Reputed Sarod artist and teacher.He belongs to Senia Maihar Gharana of Late Acharya Allauddin Khan. Performing artiste, Tutor, Musicologist & Music Composer.
