Biography

I am K. Vasanthalakshmi, I have been learning Carnatic Music for past 15 years under the guidance of various gurus. My First gurus are my Mother and Grandmother. Later learnt from Ravikiran & Sashikiran (Asiad Brothers), then from Mr. Krishnamachari (Madras Music College) I also learnt from T.K Govindarao for an Year. I have been a Radio Artist in All India Radio, Chennai. I have been teaching students since 5 years in chennai. Now I am put up in Bristol. I have been performing concerts in Birmingham Temple since Oct, 2006. I teach Carnatic Vocal, Bhajans and Violin and Veena (for Beginners)
