He is the best Mridangam artist Karnataka has produced. A prime disciple of Guru Kaaraikkudi Mani. He is a perfect traditionalist, well respected for his clarity of play, anticipation while accompanying and perfect technique. He also teaches the Kaaraikkudi Mani style of Mridangam Play. He is also a good web-designer.
