Biography

A creative and versatile musician Sanjeeb Sircar began singing and playing music at the age of five. His Sitar career is now about 30 years old during which he has performed and taught music at many places in India, Europe and the USA. Prominent among his teachers are Ustad Shujaat Khan, Pandit Banwari Lal of Allahabad, Dr. Raj Bhan Singh, and Dr. K.C. Gangrade. He has also attended lecture demonstrations and many live concerts of Sitar Maestro, Pandit Ravi Shankar. He holds a Masters Degree in Music.
