Durgaprasad Somanchy was until recently working with the Andhra Pradesh Paper Mill, as a Quality Head, for more than 35 years. He has been responsible for assuring product quality, designing product specification and conducting product trails, competition analysis, exploring alternative applications. Mr. Somanchy was also involved in paper conversion process including Pigment Coating, Corrugation, Reprography, Lamination and Flexible packaging. He has knowledge of an array of Product grades (about 800 grades), regarding manufacturing, furnish, product characteristics and end use application, related to his industry. Mr. Somanchy is also an associate member in Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association. He has more 35 years of experience in paper industry and is also knowledgeable over various pigments. He was awarded "LICENTIATESHIP by City &Gulids of London Institute, UK (LC GI)in recognition of achievement through Education, Training &Employment attained in PRINTING &PAPER.
